Rene found the world of scrap booking in 1997, when she brought her son home from a Romanian orphanage. She knew then that she didn't want a traditional baby album, and fell in love with the creativity. Between that and the camaraderie of getting together with friends to share stories, ideas, and laughs, her pictures have never been the same. A few years later she found the love of stamping and paper crafting. She has not bought a card since then.
"With those two loves combined, I have found a creative corner of myself I didn't realize existed. I've also found some very dear friendships that I know will last a lifetime. Now, with my dear friend and partner, Karen, I am working to help others find those bonds and passions through our crops."
Karen started scrapbooking in 1998 after she received her first scrapbooking kit and it stuck. She now scrapbooks all of her two boys’ events and activities along with the daily fun stuff (and not so fun stuff) that they boys get into. Even though she’s usually multiple years behind in her albums, she never stops taking those pictures!! Karen grew up in the Syracuse area and graduated from the University of Hartford with a Bachelors Degree in Architecture. She currently works in an Engineering firm and in her spare time runs her own crochet business Wrapped with a Kiss, loves scrapbooking, running in races, spending time with her two boys and training for triathlons!
